HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! My birthday is this week (October 15, to be exact) and I wanted to celebrate my birthday with... failure?
It sounds weird at first, but if you think about it, failures make us who we are. Even though the last few months I've been on a roll with everything I'm doing, I wanted to reflect on some big failures in my life in the last few years as I look forward for what's to come for both me and Empowered in Color. On this episode I talk about 3 major "failures" in my life and how I learned from them both for my career and my personal life.
In honor of Libra season (and my birthday), if you would like to support our work as we continue to serve communities of color, join our EIC Membership! It starts as low as $3 a month, less than a coffee at a coffee shop! Join us as we build our community and talk more about the intersection of race in our careers and lives.
If you'd prefer to make a one-time donation to us, you can donate via Paypal or Venmo (@KriselleGabriel). All donations will go directly to the production of EIC and all other programs/resources we create.
